Happened to be in the burbs and needed a quick dinner, and ramen sounded great! We were seated right away in a half booth half table spot. I ordered the Shio Ramen and my boyfriend ordered the Special Tonkatsu Ramen. Our food came out super fast! My boyfriend really loved his, he said it was much creamier than other tonkatsu broths he’s tasted. The broth for mine was hot and delicious, but I personally felt like it could have had more braised pork. The portion just felt a little skimpy. Really nice place to go to if you happen to be in the area.

I drove here for a takeout order, and it was absolutely worth every mile! πŸš—πŸ› We ordered two Katsu curries, gyoza, and a soft-boiled egg, and the food smelled so incredible that we couldn't resist eating the gyoza before getting home. πŸ₯ŸπŸ˜‹ They were crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and packed with flavor. The Katsu curry was warm, comforting, and perfectly seasoned, while the egg had that rich, creamy center cooked just right. πŸ₯šβœ¨ The staff member who helped with my order was genuinely friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and charming, with beautiful handmade-looking plates and cups displayed at the front. ❀️ I'll definitely be back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Japanese comfort food! πŸ‘

This is a review of the Ramen House Sinchan on 1939 S Plum Grove Road. Bottom line is that the Ramen Noodle Soups tasted good and the portion sizes were adequate. Service was average, nothing to write home about. Aside from soup, there's a lot of other items available, so check the on-line menu. The atmosphere was plain to the point of being austere, the bench seats along the wall were uncomfortable, but maybe that's the Japanese way of doing things...or they want quick turnover. I'd give the place a try.

This is my favorite restaurant in the world. I live in New York now and I love my usual restaurants there, but every time I come visit I NEED to come here. We've been coming since this location opened and it's only gotten better since. The Michelin guide is lucky I don't work for them because I would NOT shut up about this restaurant. Go here, treat yourself. The karaage is the best.

Loved this place. Everything was fairly priced and delicious. The chicken karaage was probably my favorite dish, so crispy and fresh. Really liked that they give you kewpie Mayo with it as well. We also got the curry ramen which was the perfect combination I wish I saw more. We also got the best condition ramen which had loads of flavor, but very heavy on veggies. I will be returning many more times. The Shoyu ramen was good but not my favorite, and the Tonkatsu ramen was better than the Shoyu but not as good as the curry ramen.
